Apache Cordova

Apache CordovaIs a set of device APIs that allow a mobile app developer to access native device function such as the camera or accelerometer from JavaScript. Combined with a UI framework such as jQuery Mobile or Dojo Mobile or Sencha Touch, this allows a smartphone app to be developed with just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Development of the Mobile Application Part 1 – Apache Cordova

The mobile application is built with Apache Cordova, using Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova CTP3.0 and Visual Studio Update 4.

Apache Cordova is a serie of APIs device that allows mobile developers to access native functions, as well as the camera or accelerometer, using web technologies. This is combined with  UI frame and  Mobile jQuery , which allows to develop a mobile application using only HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Tools for Visual Studio provides the capacity  to build once and deploy to various devices and platforms such as: iOS, Android and Windows Phone in a family atmosphere.

Currently the application has three fully implemented modules. These are:

Development of the Website Part 1

• Create a class library project: The creation of this type of project with the objective that the whole logic is stored to be used for project implementation, integration, search for values, etc. Another reason is to avoid duplication of work, because the website and the mobile application will use these procedures.

• Separation modules : Separation work in order to have an order, and better understanding for developers  and easily locating each module.
